Our new Gift Shop is completed. Please check out our latest offerings here.

In order to get the best possible experience with this site, you should use the latest browsers. We are shifting towards full xhtml 1.0 and css 2 compliance. In order to take advantage of this, the newset browsers are needed. We have rated the available browsers below to help you.

The best browsers to use (all are FREE)
  • Internet Explorer 5+ : By far the best browser to view the web with.
  • Netscape 6.0 : A vast improvment over the previous Netscape verisions. It is very close to the latest standards and displays pages very close to IE5.
  • Opera 5 : A new browser that is built from scratch. It is dedicated to complying with the latest web standards and not the proprietary code of IE and NS.
Second best browsers (ok if you have nothing better)
  • Internet Explorer 4 : This should still do a good job, but version 5 is better
  • Netscape 4 : This browser has caused much headache to web designers (including this one). It will display readable pages, but it is strongly suggested that you upgrade as soon as possible.
  • Opera 4 : Renders pages very close to its version 5 brother.
    Browsers to avoid using
  • Internet Explorer below version 4 : Until IE reached version 4 it was a rather poor browser. Should be avoided.
  • Netscape versions 3 and lower
  • Opera 3 and lower
  • Lynx any version : While we promote Open Source technologies, using this text-only browser will rob you of much of the content on the web. Plus it's just boring without images :-)
  • Any other brand of browser not mentioned here : The majority (80%) of web surfers use IE5, any unknown browsers will not have been tested on our site, and may yield undesirable results.
