The honor of promotion to higher degrees is predicated upon the understanding of Ving Tsun theory, successfully written articles, ability in teaching and organization, rewards and honors from other martial arts, the bringing of honor and publicity to Ving Tsun, and skill and confidence in demonstrating Ving Tsun Kung Fu.
